Ingredients
- 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Corn Starch
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1/4 cup Buttermilk
- 1 Large Tomato (Sliced Thin)
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- Lettuce (your choice, e.g. Iceberg)
- Mayonnaise
- Dill Pickle Slices
- Canola Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Preheat the canola oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg.
- Dip each chicken thigh in the egg, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Fry chicken thighs in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, 6-8 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
- Toast your hamburger buns, then assemble with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise, and the crispy chicken.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
