- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (Softened)
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Form 1-inch dough balls and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. Use a fork to press a criss-cross pattern into each ball.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
